Summer School at UK welcomes new and continuing University of Kentucky students, visiting students from other colleges and universities, teachers, and practicing professionals who take courses to advance their credentials. 

The Summer Session

May 7 - August 1, 2019

UK’s summer school in 2019 consists of a single 12-week term. Most courses will not meet for the entire twelve weeks but will follow standard meeting blocks: 1st 4-weeks, 2nd 4-weeks, 3rd 4-weeks; 1st 6-weeks, 2nd 6-weeks, 1st 8-weeks, etc.

  • MAT 247 - Dress and Culture
  • MAT 572 - International Merchandising
  • MAT 790 - Research Prob in Id, Merchandising, & Textiles
  • HMT 359 - Special Topics in Hospitality and Tourism

Current UK students should first meet with their advisor to discuss degree plans and options. If students are currently enrolled and plan to attend the 2019 summer sessions, you should priority register during your assigned window. Additional dates to add summer courses include Add/Drop.
